Reflection on the Renewal of My Temporary Vows

As I renew my temporary vows today, my heart is filled with gratitude, joy, and humility. Looking back on my journey, I recognize God’s faithful love guiding me through moments of blessing, growth, challenge, and learning.

Religious life is a beautiful gift, but it is also a daily commitment that calls me to trust God more deeply. Living the vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience is not always easy. They invite me to let go of my own plans, to love generously, and to place my life completely in the hands of the Lord. At times, I experience weakness and uncertainty, yet I am constantly reminded that God’s grace is sufficient and that He never walks away from those He has called.

Living the charism of Faith and Mission in Samoa has helped me discover the joy of serving others and sharing God’s love through simple acts of kindness, prayer, and presence. Through my community and the people I serve, I continue to encounter Christ each day.

Today, as I renew my vows, I once again offer my “yes” to the Lord. I entrust my future to Him with confidence, knowing that He who began this good work in me will continue to lead me. My prayer is to remain faithful, joyful, and generous in responding to His call, wherever my mission may take me.

With a grateful heart, I thank God, my Congregation, my sisters, my family, and all those who support me with their prayers. May my life always be a witness to God’s love and faithfulness.

God bless;
