SMF Feeding Program in San Roque, Polangui, Albay

On June 21, 2026, the Missionary Sisters of Faith (SMF) held a feeding program in Barangay San Roque, Polangui, Albay, for our brothers and sisters in Christ, especially the children from the elementary school of the said barangay.

Around 50 grade school children participated in the activity, together with the school principal, teachers, and some parents who joined the gathering. Barangay San Roque is one of the barangays of the Municipality of Polangui, Province of Albay. According to the 2020 Census, it has a population of 1,615, representing 1.81% of the total population of Polangui.

Aside from sharing a meal, the children were given a catechism session about the Lord’s Prayer and its importance in our daily life as children of God. They were reminded of the love of the Father and the value of prayer in strengthening their faith.

After the catechism, generous benefactors shared their blessings by providing a Jollibee lunch for the children, teachers, and parents. Some also brought stuffed toys that brought joy and smiles to the children.

This simple act of sharing became a meaningful experience of witnessing God’s love and care for His people. May we continue to remember the children, their families, and the people of San Roque in our daily prayers, asking the Lord to bless and guide them always.
