On the  4th September 2026, the Missionary Sisters of the Faith were blessed with a day of profound joy, thanksgiving, and grace at the St. Francis Xavier – Formation House, Janampet, Jonnesepuram, Eluru, India, as we celebrated the Perpetual Profession of Sr. Premalatha Francisca Baliarsingh and Sr. Agnes Gantedi.

This solemn and joyful occasion was honoured by the presence of our Superior General, Sr. Christine TEE, who travelled all the way from Italy to India to accompany and witness this significant moment in the lives of our two Sisters. She was accompanied by Sr. Rita DAE, who also journeyed from Italy to share in the joy of the celebration and to witness their definitive consecration to God. Their presence was a beautiful expression of the unity and communion of our religious family, bringing together the motherhouse in Italy and our community in India in one spirit of faith, prayer, and thanksgiving. Their presence made the celebration especially meaningful for Sr. Premalatha Francisca and Sr. Agnes, as they received the loving support and prayerful accompaniment of their Superior General and Sisters from the motherhouse.

The solemn Eucharistic celebration was presided over by The Most Rev. Jaya Rao Polimera, D.D., Bishop of Eluru, who was the Main Celebrant. His presence and pastoral ministry added great significance to this important ecclesial event, as the local Church gathered in prayer to celebrate and affirm the definitive “yes” of these two Sisters to the Lord.

The celebration was further enriched by the blessing of the new Grotto dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, situated in front of our Formation House. Thus, the day brought together two beautiful expressions of faith: the total consecration of two Sisters to Christ and the entrustment of our community to the maternal protection of Mary.

A Lifelong “Yes” to God

At the heart of the celebration was the Perpetual Profession of Sr. Premalatha Francisca Baliarsingh and Sr. Agnes Gantedi.

Through their solemn profession, they definitively offered themselves to God, embracing the evangelical counsels of chastity, poverty, and obedience, and consecrating their entire lives to the service of God, the Church, and His people.

Their perpetual profession marks not simply the completion of a journey of formation, but the beginning of a lifelong mission of faithful love and service. With trust in God’s grace, they pronounced their definitive “yes” to Christ and expressed their willingness to follow Him faithfully according to the charism and mission of the Missionary Sisters of the Faith.

Surrounded by their Sisters, family members, friends, priests, and members of the local Christian community, Sr. Premalatha Francisca and Sr. Agnes entered more deeply into the mystery of consecrated life. Their generous response to God’s call is a beautiful testimony to the continuing vitality of religious vocation and an encouragement to all those who seek to discern God’s plan in their lives.

Their “yes” is a reminder that a vocation is a journey of daily fidelity a commitment renewed through prayer, community life, service, sacrifice, and love.

We give thanks to God for the gift of these two vocations and pray that He may grant Sr. Premalatha Francisca and Sr. Agnes perseverance, fidelity, humility, and joy as they continue their consecrated mission.

The Blessing of the Grotto of the Blessed Virgin Mary

The joy of the day was further enriched by the blessing of the new Grotto dedicated to Mary Virgin Faithful, lovingly erected in front of the Formation House.

The Grotto is a visible expression of our community’s love and devotion to Mary, Mother of God and Mother of the Church. Her presence at the entrance of our Formation House will continually remind us to place our lives, our vocations, our apostolic mission, and all our intentions under her maternal protection. The blessing of the Grotto became a beautiful moment of prayer and thanksgiving. Gathered before the image of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we entrusted to her our newly professed Sisters, our entire religious family, our families and benefactors, and all those whom we serve through our mission. May this Grotto become a place of peace, prayer, and reflection—a sacred space where our Sisters, visitors, and all who come to our house may pause in Mary’s presence, seek her maternal intercession, and be led ever more deeply to her Son, Jesus Christ.

A Day of Grace and Thanksgiving

The events of 4th September 2026 will remain deeply treasured in the history of the Missionary Sisters of the Faith and especially in the life of our community at Janampet, Jonnesepuram, Eluru.

The perpetual profession of Sr. Premalatha Francisca Baliarsingh and Sr. Agnes Gantedi, the presence of our Superior General Sr. Christine TEE and Sr. Rita DAE from Italy, the Eucharistic celebration presided over by the Bishop of Eluru, and the blessing of the new Marian Grotto together made this a truly memorable day of grace.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to The Most Rev. Jaya Rao Polimera, D.D., Bishop of Eluru, for presiding over the Eucharistic celebration and for his pastoral presence among us on this significant occasion.

Our sincere gratitude also goes to our Superior General, Sr. Christine TEE, and to Sr. Rita DAE, for making the journey from Italy to be with us and to share in the joy of this important moment. Their presence was a precious sign of communion, fraternity, and unity within our Congregation.

We also give thanks to all the priests, Sisters, family members, friends, benefactors, and members of the local community who accompanied Sr. Premalatha Francisca and Sr. Agnes throughout their vocational journey and who joined us in prayer and celebration on this blessed day.

May the Lord continue to bless Sr. Premalatha Francisca Baliarsingh and Sr. Agnes Gantedi, strengthen them in their vocation, and make their lives a joyful and faithful witness to Christ.

May the Blessed Virgin Faithful, whose loving presence now watches over our Formation House, protect our community, guide our steps, and lead us always closer to her Son.

May the perpetual “yes” of our two Sisters become, each day, a joyful offering of love to God and a generous gift to His Church and His people.
