February 2 and July 18, 2026, were two deeply joyful days for the Congregation of the Missionary Sisters of Faith (SMF).

We give thanks to the Lord for the precious gift of vocation and for calling new members into our religious family.

On these blessed occasions, seven novices — having completed two years of formation at the International Formation House in Liliw, Laguna, Philippines — made their First Religious Profession. Through this sacred celebration, they consecrated themselves to God, embracing the three evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity, and obedience, and committing themselves with generous hearts to follow Jesus Christ and to live faithfully the charism and spirituality of the Missionary Sisters of Faith.

The newly professed sisters come from different parts of the world — two from Samoa, two from Myanmar, two from India, and one from Brazil — a beautiful reflection of the universality of the congregation and of God’s grace at work across cultures and nations. United in one vocation, they now begin a new chapter of their missionary journey as consecrated women, dedicated to proclaiming Christ and serving His people.

Below, one of the newly professed sisters shares her personal testimony, reflecting on the joys, challenges, and blessings of her vocational journey and her response to God’s loving call.

A Testimony of Grace: Sister Deepthi’s Journey

I am Sister Deepthi Nemukuri, from India. I made my First Religious Profession on February 2, 2026, in the Congregation of the Missionary Sisters of Faith, at Saint John the Baptist Parish in Liliw, Laguna, Philippines.

My formation journey — from Aspirancy to First Profession — was not easy. Yet with God’s constant guidance and the support of my formators, I was able to persevere. Along the way I met many challenges, but also countless moments of joy. Every difficulty and every blessing became an opportunity to learn, to grow, and to deepen my faith and trust in God.

As a Missionary Sister of Faith, I am deeply grateful to God and to the Congregation for the many ways I have been able to grow — spiritually, personally, and as a religious missionary. One of the greatest blessings of my novitiate was sharing life with sisters from different countries and cultures. This experience broadened my understanding of diverse traditions and ways of life, while deepening our unity in one common vocation and mission.

I am currently assigned to the Missionary Sisters of Faith community in Polangui, Albay, Philippines, where I am inspired daily by the witness of my sisters, whose dedication encourages me to live my vocation with enthusiasm, generosity, and fidelity. I continue to entrust my journey to God, praying for the grace to serve His people with love, humility, and joy as a faithful Missionary Sister of Faith.
