Personally, I reflect on consecrated life as a gift from God and a gift to God.
A call to a life of sacredness and holiness as a living sacrifice.
It was all part of His plan of salvation that His children would honour Him by serving Him in their lives as His only Son Jesus did.
In John 17:19, it says: ‘For them I consecrate myself, so that they too may be truly consecrated. And for them I consecrate myself, so that they too may be consecrated in truth.’
This statement is truly a gift from Jesus to his followers.
To be consecrated means to be set apart for God’s use and service.
I dedicate myself to being entirely at God’s disposal.
