Italy
Our presence in Italy is divided into eight communities, engaged in various areas of educational, pastoral, and charitable apostolate.
Our communities:
- Treviso (VE) – Three sisters: two work at the nursery school and one at the daycare center.
- Sambruson (PD) – Three sisters engaged in the nursery school.
- Genoa – Pastoral presence in a parish, with particular attention to liturgical animation.
- Ancona – Service at the Bishop’s Curia, in collaboration with the Bishop.
- Aquino (FR) – Three sisters dedicated to educational activities in the kindergarten.
- Rome – Gregory VII – Three sisters: one collaborates in the animation of some celebrations in St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican (songs and readings), while the other two serve at the Parish Office of St. Peter’s.
- Rome – Pius XI – A house available to sisters attending courses of study or formation.
- Sant’Angelo in Theodice (Cassino, FR) – A community of eleven sisters engaged daily in liturgical animation at the Parish of St. John the Baptist. Each sister contributes to community life with a specific service: caring for the chicken coop or vegetable garden, cooking, organizing the liturgy, domestic work, or refresher courses. Particular attention is given to charitable service to elderly sisters or those in poor health, especially at the SMF Institute.
Community life and formation
During the summer, all the sisters gather for a time of fraternity, formation, and updating on the progress of the Congregation.
After this time of recharging and sharing, each sister returns to her apostolate, ready to resume her service for the new year with renewed enthusiasm.
