Twelfth Sunday in Ordinary Time -Year A
Fear is a common experience in every human life. It arises in moments of uncertainty, suffering, and vulnerability, often leading people to withdraw or lose courage. In this Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus repeatedly encourages His disciples, saying, “Do not be afraid.” He does not promise a life free from difficulties, but assures them of God’s constant presence and care.
The example of the prophet Jeremiah shows that faith does not remove suffering, but gives strength to persevere through it. Even in times of rejection, misunderstanding, and hardship, those who trust in God are never abandoned.
Today, Christians are called to witness to the Gospel with confidence, humility, and hope, without allowing fear to silence their faith. The source of their strength is the certainty that God remains with them in every circumstance. Because of His faithful presence, believers can face life’s challenges with courage and trust.
Have a Blessed Sunday Everyone!
