Feast of Consecrated Life in Myanmar: A Witness of Hope and Communion
SMF in Myanmar marked the Day of Consecrated Life by sharing a special moment with members of various religious congregations in the Diocese of Loikaw.
Being together on this occasion was a meaningful sign of communion and a powerful witness to the presence of the Kingdom of God among us.
In the Gospel proclaimed today, Jesus is presented in the Temple, revealing himself as the Messiah and the Saviour. In the same way, we as consecrated persons are called to be presented to the world and to reveal Christ in and through our lives.
Even amid suffering and uncertainty, we are invited to bring hope to others by making the presence of the Saviour visible through who we are and how we live among those who suffer.
